The declaration event attracted key political stakeholders, party leaders, community elders, and youth groups, many of whom openly pledged their support for Atta’s ambition.
In his address, Alhaji Kabiru Onimisi Atta reaffirmed his commitment to democracy, inclusive governance, and sustainable development. He highlighted his ongoing empowerment initiatives, particularly through a community radio platform, which he said has been instrumental in sensitization, youth engagement, and grassroots development.
Atta promised to expand these initiatives if elected, with special focus on education, agriculture, small-scale enterprises, youth empowerment, and job creation, aimed at improving livelihoods across Adavi–Okehi.
Several speakers at the event commended Atta for his consistent contributions to community development and described his candidacy as timely and people-oriented. They urged the youth to unite, remain peaceful, and actively support a candidate they described as accessible and development-driven.
The APC aspirant expressed deep appreciation to Governor Alhaji Usman Ododo for his ongoing development efforts in Kogi State and pledged his loyalty and support toward the governor’s continued success and re-election bid.
He concluded by calling on youths to shun violence, embrace political participation, and take ownership of the democratic process, stressing that meaningful development can only be achieved through unity and constructive engagement.
