Atiku Is The King And Peter Obi Must Bow

Atiku Abubarkar demostrated today why he is million years ahead of Peter Obi in politics. After the funfare that greeted Peter Obi's formal defections to ADC, Atiku came out today emphatically and declared that nobody will step down for anybody in ADC. In ADC, Atiku is king and his words are law.

The bold and direct statement  made by Atiku today confirmed the worst fears of the Obidient movement; Obi must play the second fiddle. It's either he accepts and work for the party while he hopes for a future support from Atiku or leave as he always does.

Peter Obi commited a politcal blunder by not  committing to ADC earlier like the rest of them. El Rufai came out many times to plead that it's time to come together but Obi tactically stayed away in a politcal strategy that eventually backfired and got him stranded. Peter Obi by joining the ADC late inadvertently edged himself out the game. In the begining they wanted him amd he was reluctant. Now, he is the one begging the ADC in order to have a.roof over his head.

He has already lost the levrage to negotiate. He was faced with the risk of not having platform in 2027. The available option disappered. PDP is a no longer a viable option and LP is irreparably damaged .The only available door still open is ADC and he had to quickly run in before the door is shut. He has lost the ground. He has lost the leverage and will have to compete with Rotimi Amechi  who has been putting in the work to emerge as Vice  presidential candidate to Atiku.

Rotimi Amechi though lacking  the capacity to produce a Bloc vote like Peter Obi, has done more to earn the trust of the northerners than Obi who at every opportunity plays ethinic politics. The northerners will prefer an Amechi to Peter Obi who has been erratic and untrustworthy in words and actions.

Today Atiku has made clear that he is the king and Peter Obi must bow to have piece of the action.
