FMT NEWS FLASH: Hajiya Onize Assures Kogi Women on Continuous Inclusion in Ododo Gov't

The Wife of an APC stalwart in Kogi State, Hajiya Onize Yakubu has assured women in the state that the government of Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman would maintain their inclusion in governance just as the current administration of Governor Yahaya Bello has done since its inception.

Hajiya Onize stated this on Monday during a Voters Sensitisation Exercise by a group she heads, the Onize Connect For Ododo/Oyibo 2023.

The group under the leadership of Hajia Onize Yakubu were in Okengwe District of Okene LGA to sensitize voters on the need to collect their PVCs and vote candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC).

Hajia Onize Yakubu supported by the Onize Connect For Ododo/Oyibo 2023 donated some clothes and other items to the women group while assuring them that the coming administration will not only do more in consolidating on the legacy of GYB, but strengthen women inclusion in government.

Hajiya Onize stated that Alhaji Ododo is a he-for-she man, who understands the strength of women just like his mentor, the executive Governor of Kogi State, Alh. Yahaya Bello who appointed women as State Secretary General, Head of Service, Vice Chairpersons and Council Leaders of the 21 LGAs and several others serving in various capacities. She added that the APC candidate is committed to continuously uphold women in the state for the better.

She enjoined the women to ensure they take the message of the APC to all parts of the state, stressing that they should ensure the name of Ododo becomes a song on their lips as the November poll draws near.
