The group particularly condemned the actions and inaction of the former Deputy National Publicity Secretary of All Progressive Congress, Muritala Ajaka for sponsoring hate messages against Gubernatorial Candidate of All Progressive Congress, Ododo Ahmed Usman and His Excellency Alh. Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello Executive Governor, Kogi State.
In a statement signed by the Chairperson and the Secretary of the group, Mrs. Salihu Obedu Ize and Princess Muhammad Asmau Onyize, respectively, they said Ajaka was fanning the ember of animosity and violence in Igala Kingdom.
The group condemn the immoral utterances of Muri Ajaka against a selfless individual for the masses, the pride of the youth, a man with zero tolerance for sectionalism and nepotism above all the man with the side of peace, tranquility, Love,unity, justice, equity, fair play and God fearing leadership traits His Excellency Alh. Dr. Yahaya Adoza Bello CON Executive Governor, Kogi State.
“Our attention has been drawn to several hate messages sponsored by a SDP Governorship Candidate who hailed from the Eastern Senatorial District of the state.
We are amazed at the level of enemity of Mr. Muri Ajaka against Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello who had worked for the political progress and upliftment of Muri Ajaka over time.
“We, OLV cannot fold our arms and watch Mr. Muri Ajaka and his foot soldiers, to tarnish the reputation of a man who always brings development to his town.
“Muri Ajaka has always been an unserious man who jumps from one spot to another without giving consideration to the welfare of his people.
“All Mr. Muri Ajaka cares about is the ‘cool money’ he had amassed true uncivilized and uncultured ways”.
The group however, warned APC not to accept Muri Ajaka back to the party in nearest future or get him any political position either at the federal or state should the party win the next governorship election.
“We promise to mobilize young ladies, our mothers and work for the governorship candidate of our great party Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman victory Come November 11th 2023.
“Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman is well known leader par excellence; he was the former LG Auditor General in this state and many youths and people of Kogi state still recount how has touched their lives”, the statement added.
The group further emphasized that Alh. Ododo Ahmed Usman is man who plan quietly, operate covertly, display caution, patience, wisdom, build bridges, seek unity, establishes alliances, identify new friends, pursue a common and collective interest, he is strategic in all his ways of life and he has all the necessary leadership skills to consolidate on GYB numerous achievements.
