What Referred to as Examination malpractices is a failure of Teaching and Learning

Good morning my fellow forumites. My Name is Dr. Kokori Abdul ( Mental Productivity Consultant and Brain Based Educator) Some few years ago, I was invited by NOA in Akure, Ondo state to speak on the challenges of curbing examination malpractices in their schools.

I made them  to  understand that, what they  referred to as examination malpractices is a failure of teaching and learning.

When students learn they will not cheat, when they cheat, it means they are not learning.

The question should be" Why are students not learning?

Answer to above question will, to a large extent minimize exam malpractices.

Most educators (curriculum planners, education managers teachers....),  do not understand or know anything about the the brain - the organ that is involve in managing our lives including teaching and Learning.

Our efforts should be geared towards making our schools  and teachers brain compliant.

I can affirm, without fear of any contradiction that schools are boring for this generation of students. They struggle with learning against their mental configuration.

You cannot continue to do the same thing the same way and expect a different results.

Good morning and God bless.
