. Malami’s son down with high blood pressure, anxiety, collapses, rushed to Kuje clinic
Immediately inmates, including hardened and convicted criminals, especially terrorists and kidnappers got wind of the transfer of the former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami (SAN), his wife, Hajia Bashir Asabe, and son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami into Kuje Prisons, there were lots of noise, party-mood celebrations in a fit of excitement since the prisoners are all aware of how Malami and family allegedly looted a whopping eight billion seven hundred-million-naira.
However, for fear of food poisoning, the detained Malami family members have now resorted to ‘hunger strike’.
Security sources inside Kuje Prison revealed that almost all the major national daily newspapers were brought into the cells for the inmates to know what is going on out there in the world.
And when these condemned criminals heard of the alleged atrocities of Malami Enterprise, some of them were livid, angry, and wondered as to why they had to be jailed for longer prison sentences for lesser crimes compared to the hefty funds siphoned by the suspects.
As such, news went round in a moment that Malami, wife and son would be arriving. The inmates gossiped, grinning ear-to-ear about it for hours nonstop.
By the time the rumor reached the doorstep of the Correctional officers in charge, they had to put plans in place to ‘smuggle’ Malami and wife on self-recognizance into newly refurbished and upgraded Abba Kyari’s, Nigeria Police Officer’s VIP cell inside Kuje prison for their safety.

Considering the constant high blood pressure and anxiety associated with the son of former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami coupled by the rodents, and mosquito infested environment of the Kuje prison, took ill, collapsed and was reportedly rushed to the Kuje Correctional Centre clinic on Tuesday.
