The discernible former legislator was given a rousing reception as he arrived the Azad Palace.
Former House Committee Chairman on FCT and anxirary, Hon. Ahmed Tijani Yusuf Damisa, arrived at his Okene country home in Kogi State on Friday to a rousing reception by relations, friends and political associates.
Party faithful also turned out in large numbers at Sheikh Ahmad Rufai Central Mosque on Saturday for prayer for the success he recorded in the last 12 years
At Ohi of Okengwe Palace, scores of residents lined up the major streets to catch a glimpse of the lawmaker representing Okene/Ogori Magongo Federal Constituency, who was chauffeurred through the city in a motorcade enroute to Okene Local Government Area.
Addressing newsmen at the Azad Palace, Damisa expressed gratitude to God and Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for the prevailing peace in Ebiraland and Kogi State at Large .
He said that he felt well being home after his legislative services.
He said: “I feel well to be home (ASUEHI) . I am always ASUEHI. A home boy is always a home boy.”
