Governor Yahaya Bello  turned 48 on Sunday, June 18, 2023, remaining Nigeria’s youngest  civilian leader in power.

Born in 1975, he took over office  as 6th Executive Governor of the state.

He ventured into full politics in the year 2014; he became Kogi’s sixth democratically elected Governor in 2015 since the fourth republic in 1999 and won re-election in 2019.

“On behalf of the Ododo School to School Campaign and members of state steering committee, I wish to rejoice with Your Excellency on the occasion of your 48th Birthday celebrations.”

In a congratulatory message, Convener of Ododo School to School Campaign and Pioneer Chairman Education Task Force, Umar Adabara Abduljelil said Governor Yahaya Bello has demonstrated unparalleled leadership, patriotism, integrity, sacrifice, and courage in bringing genuine Kogi Agenda to Kogites
