The Ododo School to School Campaign was unveiled yesterday , 16th, May, 2023. It was a huge success as it witnessed the presence of Kogi State Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Hon. Wemi Ojo Jones along side the Senior Special Assistant to governor on informal and vocational education, Hon. Nanahawa Raji and several other dignitaries that graced the occasion.
In his goodwill message, the Convener, Comrade Abduljalil Adabara poured encomium on the Hon. Commissioner for the facelift the education sector has received in the state under the able leadership of governor Yahaya Bello such as developmental policy performance in various schools, instrumental roles in the establishment, accelerated take-off of CUSTEC and successful implementation of school adoption and mentoring programme.
While responding, the Hon. Commissioner applauded the bold step of the group (OSSC) for the strategic collaboration and pledged his supports in working with the organisation to achieve the set goals. Hon. Wemi Ojo Jones stated that the Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman is a towering pillar in view of his numerous interventions he executed through the school adoption and mentoring programme across the three senatorial districts in Kogi state. He reiterated the immeasurable impacts as the effects provided succour for several poverty stricken parents of student. He also appreciate Ustaz Yunusa popularly called Ohzy for his selfless services .
In their vote of thanks, the Kogi Central Woman Leader, Haj. Wokili Rasheedat, Deputy Zonal Coordinator, Comrde Peter and Kabba Bunu Coordinator, Comr. Ajibola expressed their profound gratitude and thanked the Hon. Wemi Ojo Jones for the established working relation and a partner for achieving greatness.
