The All Progressives Congress Governorship Candidate for the November 11, 2023 Kogi State Governorship Election, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo has all it takes to take education in the State to another level if elected.
The Kogi State Commissioner For Education Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones made the disclosure while inducting and inaugurating Ododo Campus Ambassadors at the Federal College of Education, Okene, described Ododo as having a message of renewed hope for the educational sector in the State.
Hon. Jones stated that Gov. Bello was able to ensure a strike free educational system in the State owing to the security measures in place in the State, stating that without security, no educational success would have been achieved.
Hon. Jones stated that Alhaji Ododo has remained one individual who has strongly supported the education sector through the Schools Mentorship and Adoption Program, praised him for his unwaivering commitment to the future of the future generation.
The Commissioner praised Gov Bello for his unprecedented achievements in the education sector, disclosed that under his Leadership the State massively recruited teachers for the State Secondary Schools, described Gov. Yahaya Bello administration as one that attaches unprecedented importance to recruitment and welfare of teachers.
While pointing out that the mantle of leadership would from January change hands, described Alhaji Ododo as having the capacity, competence and immense credentials to pilot the State after Gov. Bello.
He described the students of Federal College of Education Okene as energetic and passionate about acquiring qualitative education, described those selected as lucky, urged them to be worthy ambassadors of the Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo campaign.
