The launch of the Ododo Campus Ambassador had in attendance the Hon. Abdulmumin Danga, the Commissioner for Water Resources, Dr. Umar Hassan, Rector of FCE, Okene, Adabara Abduljalil, I the Convener, Director General, Chatta Ubaid and Mrs Wokili, Kogi Central Woman Leader of Ododo School to School Campaign organisation and members of Education Task Force committee led by Ustaz Yunusa Ohzy.
While delivering his welcome address, the Commissioner for Education, Hon. Wemi Ojo Jones said Kogi deserves a dynamic and compassionate leader in the mould of Ododo Ahmed Usman, stressing that he is a leader who will unite and not divide the state. "Today is a very important day in the life of this movement for so many reasons: we are launching our Ododo Campus Ambassador (OCA) in this reputable institution with a rich history, Federal College of Education Okene for the students to take the message to their various Wards across Kogi State.
"I have no doubt in my mind that OCA is one of many groups rooting for the governorship's victory, but after this inauguration today, we shall be a group that will be leading the charge with the Ododo School to School Campaign organisation with unwavering zeal moving from school to another round the state to canvass for Ododo Ahmed Usman," Hon. Wemi Ojo Jones said.
In his remarks, the Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon. Abdulmumin Danga applauded the initiative, stating that the newly inaugurated group should take the assignment seriously to ensure victory for Ododo's candidacy.
In his speech, the Director General of Ododo School to School Campaign organisation, Comr. Engr. Chatta Ubaid, appreciated the two able Commissioners, Rector of the institution and other distinguished guests, adding that for those doubting, the success of the inauguration has confirmed that the two sister groups, the Ododo School to School Campaign group (OSSC) and Ododo Campus Ambassador (OCA) are partners in progress and they are committed to seeing Ododo Ahmed Usman emerge as Kogi State Governor in November, 2023.
In his remark, the Coordinator of Education Task Force, Comr. Muhammed Yusuf commended the consistent efforts of the Commissioner for education for the ongoing Ododo's political project in the state as the next governor comes November, 2023.
