Hon. Tijani Damisa settles Junior WAEC fee for over 500 indigent students

Hon. Ahmed Tijani Yusuf Damisa, representing Okene/Ogori/Magongo Federal Constituency has paid Junior WAEC examination fees for over 500 indigent students in his Constituency.

The Inside Nigeria News reports that Damisa made the payment  to the beneficiaries at Ebira Muslim Community College Okene on Saturday 27th May, 2023.

The following schools benefitted from the exercise ; Okene Local Government Secondary School ,Ohiana, Government Day Secondary School, Upogoro and Ebira Muslims Community College, Okengwe and few other schools. 

He said that the gesture was part of his contributions to the educational uplifting of indigent students and the poor in his constituency.

“It is my belief also that when we give the young ones the desired education, not even the sky will be their limit; more so that education is the bedrock of any society,’’ Damisa said.

Responding on behalf of the principals of the benefitting students, Ustaz. Hassan, the Principal, EMCCO thanked Damisa for coming to the aid of the students in the constituency.

EMCCO Principal  said that such encouragement would go a long way in guaranteeing their (students’) future academically.

Also speaking, Ohi of Okene, HRH. Alh. Manman Okatahi described the gesture as “very heart-warming’’ and “stimulating.





Alh. Haruna, the CEO Ozomata Foundation  commended the legislator for his magnanimity, which he noted, had brought great relief to the parents.

He urged other well-meaning public officers to emulate the legislator and touch the lives of the people within their domains.
