The above named foundation was established on the 20th of January, 2023.
The idea of its birth was perceived, having observed the myriad of challenges faced by the Ebira Muslim sons and daughters with regards to selecting a spouse and managing the homes. Consequently, an eight man team came together to establish the foundation, with the hope that it will ease the hurdles of our people in their search for spouse basically, and by extension make recommendations on how to manage the home.
Within the few months of our operation, it may interest you to know that we have records of members who have successfully been paired, some of whom have taken steps to meeting each other's parents and others preparing; and have also rescued some marriages on the verge of collapse through our intervention.
Aside spousal search, it is also opened for couples for whom we have slated weekly programmes on counseling, to enable them manage the home, with the hope that the incessant divorce cases in our dear land today can be reduced minimally.
While at the moment, our meetings hold online across WhatsApp and telegram, it may interest you to know that the foundation, for effective learning, decided lately to introduce online video platforms like Google meet and Zoom, where our counselling sessions shall be holding onwards.
In the bid to reach our projection, we have decided to further take a bold step, such that will drive home our intent and guard us against any surmounting influence, by registering the foundation with Cooperate Affairs Commission (CAC).
Having made enquiries on obtaining all documents for legal backings to operate as an entity within the provisions of the law of the land, we will be required to run the cost at an estimated amount of a hundred and fifty thousand naira (#150,000).
It is on this note that we appeal to you to kindly come to the aid of the foundation to assist in raising this fund and encourage friends to also assist us in anyway –cash or kind–, that we may within the shortest period possible acquire this warrant and benefit the people with our action plan.
