Your excellency Sir, remember sometime ago you ordered appointees to sink three boreholes in their various domain, 90% flouted the order. As we speak, before the closure of sales of forms day before yesterday, a huge number of aspirants also went ahead to do otherwise. Your excellency Sir, you are becoming too soft for my liking. If i were the system? That's automatic first disqualification for such aspirants.
It's is very amazing that those who were products of the system yesterday are suddenly having opinion against the system arrangement today. It is not too long, we were all here and saw how the system brought them forward 2019 and 2023 and heaven didn't fall. Your excellency Sir, if i were you? I will use the sledge hammer and damn the consequence. The continuous silence of the system position is not a healthy one and i think the disunity you feared may still be staring at us.
Thirdly and finally Sir, every geographical setting has it's unique traditional mode of power distribution which the system has to take into cognizance to make general election victory not too difficult. Knowing too well, there are opposition who are anxious of our irregularities to their advantage. For instance, Okene1 my constituency has two sons(Okovi and Agada). Your excellency Sir, the system should be mindful of power concentration. We lost Adavi/Okehi federal constituency in 2023 due to some of this factor.
More importantly, as regards my ambition to serve the good people of Okene1 constituency? It has never been a do or die affairs but for the love to contribute significantly to the wellbeing of our people but, since the system haven't in my three attempts found me worthy of her service. As a Muslim i have always known that leadership is a divine call, for Allah says in suratul Al Imran, verse 26 Say: "O Allah! Lord of Power (And Rule), Thou givest power to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest: Thou enduest with honour whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power".
In a similar verse, Q2:247"...Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And Allah is All-Encompassing and Knowing.". Having done my humanly best part in the last twelve years, i think Allah has a bigger plan for me. HE is most wise, most knowing. To my dear family, friends, political associates and constituents, I see the love, i feel the compassion, i acknowledge the enthusiasm. Your overwhelming support didn't go unnoticed and i can assure you, it will be rewarded adequately and at the appropriate time.
To my political leader, ever untiring and sagacious mother, chief Dr Habibah Oyiza Onumoko. My mentor, dependable pillar and ever supportive big brother, Rt. Hon. Tijani Ahmed Damisa. The progressive, most humble and our dynamic governor, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo and to our grand master, the supreme leader, white lion of the universe, the incoming Senator, Alh Yahaya Adoza Bello, my loyalty remains unshaken and unperturbed. If it is not us today, it may tomorrow if God spare our lives.
It's not over until it's over. The future is still very bright. We plan but Allah is the best of all planners.
