The elders from both Okehi and Adavi Local Government Areas have unanimously thrown their weight behind Chief Momoh Yusuf Obaro for his Senatorial ambition under the APC.
His bold step in obtaining the APC Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms clearly demonstrates his loyalty to the zone and his commitment to the collective aspiration of Kogi Central. This move has further reinforced the confidence of our people that Chief Obaro remains a dependable and trustworthy leader who has not betrayed the mandate of the zone.
We wish to emphasize that the people of the old Okehi axis comprising Adavi and Okehi LGAs are not subordinate to any political bloc. We are independent-minded and resolute in our decision to support Chief Obaro. We are fully prepared to mobilize support across all levels, including encouraging APC e-registered members to become financially active participants in the party and ensuring massive participation in the forthcoming primary elections.
Chief Obaro’s adoption of the “P5 Formula”—Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance is a testament to his readiness and strategic mindset. His vision is clear, his plans are well-structured, and his determination to deliver quality representation is unquestionable. He is not only ready to contest; he is ready to win and serve effectively.
We, however, respectfully urge former Governor Yahaya Bello to exercise caution and engage in wide consultations before making any moves to obtain nomination forms, in order to avoid unnecessary political embarrassment. We also encourage him to continue playing his respected role as a leader within the APC in Kogi State.
Finally, we call on all stakeholders, party faithful, and the good people of Kogi Central to rally behind Chief Momoh Yusuf Obaro as the candidate who truly represents the collective interest and future of the zone.
