Governor Ododo should be bold enough to mention name or give undiluted clarification as to who embezzled the fund meant for Kogi East electrification, better still, he ought to have avoided the discussion in the first place.
My Dear brothers from Kogi East, I have watched you people shifting blames on either His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello or his former deputy, His Excellency David Onoja but I want you people to set aside sentiment and hatred, you people really need to stop blaming others for your failures due to your excessive agitation for Igala agenda that has kept your zone undeveloped, you have produced three (3) governors and they spent not less than 20 years in power but failed to give you basic amenities such as electricity and good roads and the only problem you think you have is Governor Yahaya Bello who started the project of Kogi East electrification.
I can understand your so much hatred for Yahaya Bello, Your love for power have blinded majority of you because you are used to free money from government house and local government ghost work where you received salaries without going to work, I could remember then that we were in school, some of my Igala friends were receiving Salaries every month and they don't even know which job description they are designated to do talk more of going to work, but His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Bello came to power and stopped all the "Osho free" from the government coffer, if only such stomach infrastructure was channeled for the development of your zone for the twenty (20) years your leaders spent in government, by now we shouldn't be talking about perpetual darkness in Kogi East or a failed electrification project.
It obvious you are shifting blames because you are blinded with Igala agenda, you should hold your leaders accountable, Even as at when Ebira people were not in power, Ebira people took responsibility of developing their land with individual efforts, Ibro government were spending huge money for thugs and political nitwits to cause destruction and killings in Kogi Central while neglecting development of his Eastern zone, despite the destruction in Kogi Central, people of Ebira land rebuilt every house and properties that were burnt down and Yahaya Bello you hate so much constructed the roads and awarded some at the tail end of his second tenure that are still under construction today.
Just as you are hating Yahaya Bello instead of blaming your past leaders' failure, Ebira people are grateful to him and they loves him as not just their Moses who saved his people from the torment of Pharaoh but an ever celebrated illustrious son, hence, Ebira people always troops out to Yahaya Bello's house to celebrate his every home coming.
