Kogi Accountant-General Pays Courtesy Visit to Rt. Hon. Kabiru Adjoto in Edo State

The Accountant-General of Kogi State, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko, has paid a courtesy visit to Rt. Hon. (Alhaji) Kabiru Adjoto, Chairman of the Local Government Civil Service Commission and Director-General, Local Government Pension, Edo State, at his hometown of Kakumo, Akoko-Edo Local Government Area of Edo State.

While welcoming the Accountant-General, Rt. Hon. Kabiru Adjoto expressed profound appreciation for her selfless service to humanity, professionalism, and unwavering commitment to public service. He described Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko as a compassionate and visionary leader whose dedication to accountability, transparency, and grassroots development continues to make a positive impact beyond Kogi State. He prayed that Almighty Allah grants her good health, wisdom, strength, and greater heights in her continued service to humanity.

Rt. Hon. Adjoto also showered encomiums on the Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Monday Okpebholo, commending his visionary leadership and remarkable developmental strides across the state. He particularly noted the visible interventions and projects executed in Kakumo within a short period of time, praying for Allah’s continued guidance, protection, and success as the Governor leads Edo State to greater heights.

Furthermore, he commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his people-centred leadership style, inclusive governance, and commitment to sustainable development. He prayed that Allah bless the Governor with sound health, divine wisdom, and enduring success, and that his administration records lasting achievements that promote peace, unity, and prosperity across Kogi State.

In the course of the visit, Rt. Hon. Kabiru Adjoto openly declared his support for the former Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, endorsing him for the Kogi Central Senatorial seat in 2027. He expressed confidence that the path is clear and that victory is assured, Insha’Allah.

Also speaking at the occasion, Professor Olusi commended former Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello for laying a solid foundation for development in Kogi State and for choosing a capable successor to consolidate his legacy. He expressed gratitude to the Accountant-General for her unwavering support to the Kakumo community in Akoko-Edo and offered prayers for Rt. Hon. Kabiru Adjoto and other leaders of Edo State, asking Allah to grant them wisdom, strength, and success in leadership.

In her response, Chief Dr. Habibat Oyiza Tijjani Onumoko expressed heartfelt appreciation for the warm reception and kind words extended to her. She praised the leadership qualities of Rt. Hon.
