Re:Kogi state new school building and renovation

Kogi central senatorial zone has the least number of secondary schools while Kogi east has double or tripled the number of Kogi central secondary schools. Some big secondary schools in Kogi central especially OSS, Okene (established in 1944) have almost all the building collapsed due to many years of neglect.

I hereby appeal to the state governor to critically look into following.

1.This is the time to do equality rather than equity.That is,the Kogi central with few schools should have largest number of new schools allocated in order to equalize with the other zones.Statistics is there to use.

2. All the schools should be fenced for security reasons and prevention of land encroachment.

3. Vocational studies should be introduced for technical skill acquisition.

4. Sport facilities should be provided in all the schools for future empowerment.etc.

5. Excellent performance should be rewarded for the students,teachers and schools.
