Kogi State Government Launches Skeletal Operations at Fashion Shared Facility in Okene: A Testament to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo's Visionary Leadership

The skeletal operation of the Kogi Fashion Shared Facility in Okene has officially commenced this week. This facility marks a significant milestone in empowering entrepreneurs in the fashion industry, providing them with access to modern equipment and a conducive environment for production and creativity.

By supporting small and medium-scale enterprises (SMEs) in the fashion sector, this initiative aligns with the Kogi State Government's broader efforts to boost economic growth, generate employment, and enhance skill development. Entrepreneurs and stakeholders in the fashion industry are encouraged to leverage this opportunity for growth and collaboration.

The facility's launch will also attract other skill acquisition centers to the same location, such as catering services, metalwork, leatherwork, GSM village, modeling, laundry, and local cloth trading. According to the Managing Director/CEO’s plan, this initiative is part of a grand vision to create an industrial hub that will take no less than 300 to 600 unemployed people off the streets by providing sustainable job opportunities.

Under His Excellency's guidance, Kogi State continues to take bold strides towards industrialization and innovation, ensuring the state remains a hub for talent development and business growth. The people of Kogi are truly fortunate to have a leader who prioritizes their welfare and economic prosperity.
