An Open plea to our passionate and Godly Governor of Kogi State Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo.

Your Excellency sir, your presence as the executive governor of our dear state is a positive step forward to our state in terms of both human and capital development regardless of who has benefitted from you and which capital project you have executed within the short time in office, may God continue to foster your strength, good health, and guidance, Ameeen.

Your Excellency sir, the matter I bring before you is a matter that concerns your subjects, children's, brother's, sister's and other well wishers who see a positive potential and opportunities in our state.

Your Excellency sir, we understand the economic hardship lavaging the nation at large also affected our dear Kogi State in all ramifications.

Your Excellency sir, the recent hike in the tuition fees of the state own higher institution of learning which include Kogi State University Kabba, Prince Abubakar Audu University Ayigba, Confluence University of Science and Technology Osara, Kogi State Polytechnic, School of Nursing and Midwifery Obangede, College of Health Technology Idah, School of Nursing Egbe, State College of Education Ankpa, College of Education and Technical Kabba etc is causing more headache to most of our parents, uncle's, aunt's, sponsor's, etc in the state and beyond the state, this may leads to many of these children to voluntarily withdrawn from the school, yes we understand that despite the increase in the tuition fees, Kogi State own institution is still somehow lower compare to many State own institutions in the country.

Your Excellency sir, my plea is as follows sir;

1. If possible for the student to pay this fees twice in a session to less the burdens of their parents and sponsor's etc

2. Given a relief scholarship on tuition fees to the indigenous students of the state.

3. Increments and prompt payments of bursary to Kogi State students across the board.

4. Since the economic hardship was what warrant this, and most of the parents and sponsor's are feeling it too, sir, slight reduction in the fees is very possible and necessary sir.

5. Your Excellency sir, Instalment payment should be allow and balance should be made within a stipulated time by the management.

6. Any other measures that can taken to less this burden in the side of the parent's and sponsor's are very  welcome your Excellency sir.

You are good man, a man that listen to act and not to ignored, a man that will to do more for people to be happy, the man whose word hold fact and not fiction. 

May God continue to protect, guide and give you the will to look into this plea on behalf of all our parents, sponsor's, guidians etc which you are waving with many of them here. inshallah.
