Olusegun Obasanjo , after years of incarceration, returned to rebuild Nigeria’s democracy. Kwame Nkrumah of Ghana, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan of Turkey, and Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva of Brazil all faced imprisonment, only to rise stronger and more determined to serve their people.
Their stories remind us that challenges are not the end but often the beginning of a new and more impactful chapter. Alhaji Yahaya Bello now stands in this lineage of leaders who transform trials into opportunities for growth and service.
As the visionary behind the establishment of KEDA, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has already left an indelible mark on Kogi State. We must also take a moment to commend His Excellency, Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his steadfast loyalty and unwavering commitment to sustaining the legacy of his mentor. Governor Ododo has shown exceptional dedication to building on the foundation laid by Alhaji Yahaya Bello, ensuring that the progress and transformation initiated during his administration remain on track. His leadership exemplifies continuity, stability, and a shared vision for a greater Kogi State.
