Qatari PM: The Great and Powerful Iran can put into practice the idea of unity in Islamic World

The Prime Minister of Qatar Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, has commended Iran's significant role and capacity in fostering unity across the Islamic world. In a recent statement, he referred to Iran as a "great and powerful nation" that is well-positioned to turn the vision of Islamic solidarity into reality.  

According to reports from Islamic Republic News Agency, the Qatari leader highlighted the importance of unity among Muslim-majority nations, emphasizing that collaboration is vital to addressing the shared challenges faced by the Islamic world. "The great and powerful Iran has the ability to put into practice the idea of unity in the Islamic world," he remarked, underlining Tehran's influence in regional and global Islamic affairs.  

He pointed to the current geopolitical climate, which calls for closer cooperation among Muslim countries to counteract divisions and external interference. The Prime Minister stressed that unity is not only a religious imperative but also a strategic necessity for ensuring peace, security, and economic prosperity within the Islamic community.  

Acknowledging Iran's longstanding contributions to Islamic culture and politics, the Qatari Prime Minister praised the country's leadership in advocating for dialogue and understanding among nations. He expressed confidence in Iran’s ability to guide efforts aimed at bridging divides within the Muslim world.  

The statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, where numerous conflicts and rivalries have strained relations among Islamic nations. The Prime Minister urged all Muslim countries to prioritize collaboration over discord, suggesting that a unified front could significantly enhance the region's global standing.  

Iran has consistently championed the idea of Islamic unity, advocating for stronger ties among Muslim nations through diplomacy and multilateral initiatives. Its role in mediating regional conflicts and promoting interfaith dialogue has been widely recognized.  

The Qatari leader’s remarks stressed the growing consensus among Muslim-majority countries about the need for greater cohesion in addressing common issues such as economic development, cultural preservation, and the defense of Islamic values on the international stage.
