Unity in Diversity: Embracing Opposition for a Greater Kogi State

Fellow Kogites, as we celebrate the Supreme Court victory of His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, let us not forget the importance of unity and inclusivity in our democracy. We must treat opposition parties and contenders with respect and care, just like the late Sardauna of Northern Nigeria, who embraced his opponents and worked towards the greater good and eradicate poverty of the mind and physical.

Democracy is for all, not just a sectional group or political party. We must avoid marginalizing those who have contributed to our democratic successes, regardless of their political affiliations. Instead, let us come together to develop and improve the lives of our citizens.

As frontliners, we must put aside our differences and work towards a common goal. Let us give value and importance to the leaders and followers of all political parties, avoiding hate and segregation. By doing so, we can build a stronger, more united Kogi State.

I congratulate His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his Supreme Court victory and urge him to extend a hand of friendship to his opponents. Let us work together to make Kogi State great for all.
