The Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs Hon. Nasiru Yusuf Ekunu rejoices with the Muslim umma across the globe on this year celebration of Eid-el-adha.
He advised the Muslim umma to work together as brothers and sisters in Islam in other to achieve unity and enduring love in the land. Stressing that there are many bounties created by God Almighty to enhance our togetherness as muslim entity.
Hon Ekunu further said that every Muslim should imbibe the spirit of forgiveness and sacrifice as portrayed by the holy Prophet Mohammad (SAW) during and after the Eid-el Kabir celebration.
He added that the spirit of Oneness and love can strengthen the Muslim community, which will equally facilitate the promotion of the Islamic Ethics in our society.
He remain thankful to Almighty Allah for the relative peace enjoyed till date as observed during reign of the former Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello and the optimum peaceful atmosphere sustain by this administration of His Excellency Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo.
Hon Ekunu also use the opportunity to commend the present administration over his commitment to saving lives and properties of the people of Kogi state.
