Kogi Tribunal: OSSC Congratulates Gov. Ododo on Election Tribunal Victory

The leadership of the Ododo School to School Campaign (OSSC) organization congratulates Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo, on his election tribunal victory following today's court ruling (27/05/2024).

In a message delivered by its Director General, Engr. Chatta Ubaid, the organization applauded the governor and the people of Kogi State, hailing the verdict as a triumph for democracy.

After three months of deliberations, the tribunal has finally upheld Governor Ododo's election, which brought him to power. The tribunal's thorough process ensured a fair hearing for both defendants and respondents, considering exhibits and witnesses from both sides.

The Director General reiterated that the Ododo School to School Campaign group strongly believes in Governor Ododo's leadership capacity and this court verdict is a testament to his resolve to work towards the unity, progress, and economic transformation of Kogi State.

Chatta Ubaid advised that a tranquil atmosphere is essential for a state's development, and therefore urged the opposition to join hands with the APC-led government to move Kogi forward.
