APC Women group Drums Support for Mrs Cook

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Ododo Women Mandate has declared their support for the incumbent Executive Chairman STETSCOM, Enezoza Cecilia Cook as the next first chairman of the Secondary School Board because of her vast experience in educational Sector 

Addressing a press conference in Lokoja, the convener, Barr. Happiness  Akinola posited that in promoting the excellent ideas, innovations, political wheel and advancement which is being propelled by the administration of Government Usman Ahmad Ododo through the principle of party politics and democracy, Enezoza Cook is the woman fit for the job.

The group further said that such a noble task of chairmanship of such sector requires the services, knowledge, capacity and experience of a seasoned public administrator and distinguished management guru per excellence like Cook.

“We are appealing to Mr Governor to consider our request, look inward and retain the incumbent Executive Chairman STETSCOM, Cook Enezoza as the next chairman of the new board  considering her antecedents and track records of excellent performance, the West African Examination Council  (WAEC) ranked Kogi State among the 10 top state under her watch".

We show our appreciation to the governor for giving unprecedented recognitions to women in the state both politically and economically. They added that Governor Ododo Ahmed Usman truly recognised the place of women as nation builders by appointing a woman as Accountant General of the state,  commissioners for ministry of science &technology and humanitarian  adding that they are also ready to reciprocate his kind gesture by supporting him in all area of his administration 

The women praised the former governor Alh. Yahaya Adoza Bello CON for the landmark opportunities he gave to women in the state in term of political appointments, economic empowerment and employments without being biased or discriminate against the women.Associations of market women in the state gave special appreciation to the ex governor for creating an enabling and market friendly environment for traders in the state.

“It is essential that we, as women, come together and work in harmony to inculcate the women’s agenda into the heart of Kogi State’s political landscape”.

The women’s agenda isn’t about exclusion; it’s about ensuring that our concerns is to support one another and not work against each other.
