The history-making event which took place at the grand Palace of the Ohinoyi in Okene on Thursday 25, 2024, was witnessed by a diverse array of attendees, fostering an atmosphere of jubilation and unity.
OSSC extends its commendation to over 70 other contestants who vied for the esteemed traditional stool in Ebiraland, they have truly shown and displayed sportsmanship, maturity and patriotism throughout the process.
Going down the memory lane, the director general said His Royal Majesty, Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje served in the Nigerian Army with an unblemished career record.
He previously served as the Ohi of Okenwye before his appointment as the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland on January 25, 2024.
Following his enthronement as a traditional ruler in 2021, Ohi of Okenwye, a first class chief in Kogi Central, was an epitome of peace and unity for his subject. His vast ideas in Kogi rich cultural heritage and community development shall act as vehicle for human capital development in his domain.
