In an Interview with Rev. Zacchaeus Jonathan from his USA base where he is currently engaged in some live changing events, the Labour Party House of Representatives Candidates in the last National Assembly election, but has since joined the APC used the interview to thank Gov. Bello for a job well done that culminated into victory for the APC in the just conclude Governorship election.
According to Rev. Zacchaeus, “The man and Gov. Bello is that Leader that is not known by most people in Kogi State.
“Gov. Yahaya Bello is a man that is very simple and very straightforward in his approach to issues and in handling the issues that pertains to individual personalities that come across his path with easy.
“Gov. Bello has displayed high level of leadership qualities that is yet to be demonstrated by any before him in the affairs of the state since creation in 1999 – till date.
“This is the reason why he is able to pull me to himself. I do not easily accept overtures from people like that. if I will recall back to 2008, the scenario at hand now was in the top burner then and the leaders then made all frantic efforts to persuade me Rev. Zacchaeus Jonathan then to join the PDP but to know avail as I was not convinced that the Leaders then meant well for me and my people, the OWORO people.
” So I turned down the offer made to me which did not go down well with the Leaders then.
“Gov. Bello has shown much interest in the neglected people of the state like the OWOROS unlike other past leaders that even said to my people they can not fill a wheel barrow. The Ibaji people are also a people Gov. Bello was interested in but they went ahead to do an agenda that is not likely to lift them up.
“The Bassa komu people have shown some respect for GYB and you can be sure he will not leave them behind.
“With the benefit of hindsight, I, Rev. Zacchaeus can boldly say his decision then was not wrong.
On why he decided to join Governor Yahaya Bello
“My very first meeting with The White Lion as I fondly call him whenever I am with him, is that his tenacity and forthrightness in handling issues brought before him is very evident to a discerning audience with the Spirit of God to know that Governor Yahaya Bello has some hidden qualities that is not visible to the undiscerning mind.
“There is something about Governor Yahaya Bello that makes him a great leader with a difference.
“When he seats to chat with you, he listens to everyone talk in the group that visits him depending on the mood of the meeting.
“He then respond to the issues presented with high level of compassion and understanding that will make you feel better in the company of a Leader even when nothing looks like is happening or will even happen.
Rev. Zacchaeus urged the people to toe the direction of the incoming administration, promising that Kogi State will be better for it in terms of good governance, where all the people would be better for it.
“To the election that has just been decided in kogi state it will be recalled that many people speculated different news about how Governor Bello was going to fail and disgraced, and how President Tinubu was not going to support him how there was already a plan to disgrace Governor Bello and I was even told to my face that Governor Bello will not Honor his promise to me that I should come off his back and do an agenda to take him out which I never responded to. Thank God that I have the Spirit of God to guide me and direct me in all that I do.
“Now the food is cooked and ready for eating and every body is shouting as if they where all in the forefront of the battle.
“One thing I like Governor Bello for is that he is a very dangerous strategist who know things you think he is not aware of but stay very calm in relating with you as if he did not know what is going on.
“Governor Yahaya Bello will shock many people in this next Government of ODODO his flower boy that all the hypocrites hustling for power and position now will be disappointed.
“One thing I am very confident of and very sure about Governor Yahaya Bello in this upcoming Government of his flower boy ODODO is that GYB has realized the mistake of the past years he will guide ODODO not make the same mistake.
“My sincere Advise to the in coming Governor is not to allow any sycophants to come in between himself and his principal GYB.
“He should calm down and take advice from his predecessor who has seen it all.
I can boldly say that there are many people who are not happy with his choice as the Governor and may want to spoil his relationship with his predecessor, he should be wise not to allow it for him to be successful in his eight years runs ahead. He should also be careful with people because they will say he said even when he has not said anything
“I give him all my support and prayers now and always.
“For Governor Yahaya Bello he is a HERO treading where Generals could not.
Congratulations to all those that genuinely work to make this happen with Governor Yahaya Bello.
“For the hypocrite I say again REPENT and joint hands to make Kogi State a great state amongst the committee of states
