I was worried when SSG Announced Appointment of National Guard, Aso Villa Military Officers-George.

A Member of the Peoples Democratic Board of Trustees, Chief Bode George, has disclosed that the president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, has the right to appoint and sack anyone who makes up his cabinet, including the service chiefs.

However, Chief Bode George disclosed that the Secretary to Government does not have the right to announce the appointment of lower units like the National Guard and Aso Villa Military Officers.

Chief Bode George revealed that he was worried when he saw the Secretary to Government, George Akume, announce the appointment of National Guards and Aso Villa Military Officers. 

Chief Bode George maintained that the announcement of the appointment of the Aso Villa Military Officers and National Guard is the duty of the Army Council, the Naval Board, or the Air Force Council. Chief Bode George argued that it is these military councils that will be saddled with the duty of reorganizing those officers who would be working for Bola Tinubu
